Gifford Park Community Garden Event

Recently, Cooking Matters attended a Saturday morning event at the Gifford Park Community Garden to show the members of the neighborhood how to cook with fresh ingredients from the garden! Volunteer Chef Robert Murnan demonstrated how to make Pesto Pasta with fresh basil, and he also showed how to make homemade salad dressing using different types of fresh herbs and greens from the garden. The kids LOVED it and had such a great time making the food!
